For many years I have been a great lover of Pomegranate juice, it’s super refreshing and incredibly tasty. Did you know that it contains 365 seeds and that the Jewish people use it during their New Year celebration to bless one another and have a prosperous year. It has impressive Anti-Inflammatory effects due to the antioxidant qualities.

Studies have indicated that drinking pomegranate juice (about 250ml per day for 12 weeks) reduces inflammation, particularly of the digestive system, breast and colon cancer.

Pomegranates help prevent certain diseases such as heart disease and aids palpitations particularly when combined with celery and cucumber. It also reduces the risk of cancer, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, which can lead to heart attacks, strokes, obesity and Alzheimer’s disease.

When creating one of my wonderfully healthy juices which contains the lovely pomegranate, I tend to combine the below ingredients in order to help alkalise the body. The below juice also has great benefits such as being anti spasm and anti nausea. When I worked with cancer patients I learnt a great deal of information on how to help them with various symptoms. Juices, smoothies and certain types of raw, easily digestible foods have been found to be beneficial.
