I am often asked for energetic smoothie recipes to raise the energy particularly at the beginning of the year when we get the ‘pick-me-up’ feelings. Some people even ask about green smoothies for detox which I will post soon.

In this post, I will outline the need for energy to help us get going and motivate us to start the year on a healthy note. I personally find this smoothie to alleviate my energy particularly after exercise and I hope you can let me know of your feedback too.

Ingredients:

½ avocado 

½ mango

I tbsp cashew nuts

½ fresh turmeric

½ cup coconut milk

½ lime

1 tsp chia seeds

Preparation:

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute.
  • Pour into a long glass and enjoy!
